Terms of Service
Last updated: 30 August 2026
These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) govern your use of Cowri Mobility’s services and website. By engaging Cowri Mobility, completing a payment, or otherwise using our services, you agree to these Terms. Please read them together with our Refund Policy, Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, which form part of this agreement.
Section 01 — Who we are
Cowri Mobility (“Cowri Mobility,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) provides professional study-abroad advisory and application support, visa-application preparation support, and flight-ticketing services. Our services are directed primarily at applicants in Ghana and are delivered remotely and through communication channels such as WhatsApp and email.
“You” means the person who engages our services or uses our website. If you engage us on behalf of another applicant, you confirm you are authorised to do so and that the applicant accepts these Terms.
Section 02 — Nature of our services (professional services)
Cowri Mobility provides professional services. You are paying for our professional time, guidance, preparation and coordination work — not for a visa, an admission, a scholarship, an appointment date, or any particular decision by a third party.
Our professional service fees are separate from, and do not include, any third-party costs (see Section 07 and Section 08). We are an independent service provider. We are not a government body, a university, an embassy, a visa application centre, or an airline, and we do not act on their behalf.
Section 03 — Study abroad services
Our study-abroad services are offered through two defined packages. The authoritative description and pricing of these packages is published on our Study Abroad page.
Premium Advisory — GHS 2,999
An advisory and guidance service. You remain responsible for preparing and submitting your own applications. We provide profile and eligibility assessment, university and programme strategy, a recommended shortlist, an application roadmap, document and CV review, statement-of-purpose / motivation-letter guidance, application review, visa document guidance, proof-of-funds guidance, interview preparation and pre-departure guidance. Premium Advisory is considered delivered as we provide the guidance, reviews and materials that make up the service.
Managed Application — GHS 9,999
A managed application-preparation and case-management service in which we coordinate your university application and visa-preparation journey with you. It includes everything in Premium Advisory plus up to three university or programme applications for one destination country, application preparation, submission assistance where permitted, document organisation, admission tracking, university follow-up, offer evaluation, visa-document preparation, visa form assistance, appointment guidance, proof-of-funds preparation guidance, interview preparation, pre-departure support and dedicated case management.
The Managed Application fee may be paid in two stages: GHS 4,999 at the application stage and GHS 5,000 at the visa-preparation stage, for a total professional service fee of GHS 9,999. Each stage fee covers the work of that stage.
Package scope is limited to what is expressly listed. Additional destinations, additional applications beyond the stated limit, or work outside standard scope may be quoted separately.
Section 04 — Visa services
Where you engage us for visa-application preparation (including business-visa support), we help you prepare, organise and present your application to the standard expected by the relevant embassy, consulate or visa application centre, and we may assist with appointment guidance and interview preparation.
Visa decisions are made solely by the relevant immigration or consular authority. Appointment availability and processing times are controlled entirely by those authorities and their service providers, never by Cowri Mobility.
Section 05 — Flight ticketing
Where you engage us for flight ticketing, we research, quote and arrange the issuance of airline tickets based on your confirmed itinerary and payment. Fares, availability, baggage rules, changes and refunds are controlled by the airline and are subject to the airline’s own fare rules. Fulfilment may be completed through approved ticketing partners.
Purchasing a ticket does not guarantee visa approval or entry to any country. Once a ticket is issued, airline penalties, fare differences and non-refundable costs are your responsibility.
Section 06 — Your obligations
To allow us to deliver our services, you agree to:
- provide genuine, complete, accurate and verifiable academic, identity and financial information and documents;
- respond to our requests for information or documents promptly;
- make payments to third parties (such as universities, embassies and airlines) when required; and
- make your own decisions about whether to proceed with any application or purchase.
You are solely responsible for the truthfulness of the information and documents you provide. Cowri Mobility does not create, alter, fabricate or temporarily arrange academic records, proof of funds or other official documents, and we may decline or discontinue service where we reasonably believe information is false or misleading.
Section 07 — Third-party institutions and costs
Our services frequently involve third parties, including universities, embassies, consulates, visa application centres, government authorities, airlines, translators, notaries and courier companies. These third parties set their own requirements, fees, timelines and decisions, which are outside our control.
Third-party costs are not included in our professional service fees unless expressly stated. Examples include university application fees, tuition and deposits, credential evaluations, translations, notarisation, legalisation or authentication, courier charges, embassy or visa application centre fees, biometric fees, medical examinations, police clearance certificates, insurance, flights and accommodation.
Section 08 — Payments and fees
Our professional service fees are quoted to you before work begins and, for study-abroad packages, are published on our Study Abroad page. Fees are payable as agreed — in full, or in the defined stages described for the Managed Application service.
By completing a payment you request and authorise us to begin work. Work on your matter begins once your payment is confirmed. Fees are exclusive of third-party costs, which you pay separately or reimburse where we have paid them on your behalf.
Section 09 — Cancellations and refunds
Cancellations and refunds are governed by our Refund Policy, which forms part of these Terms. In summary: professional service fees are earned as the service is delivered, third-party costs are non-refundable once incurred, and a change of mind is not a ground for a refund. Please read the Refund Policy in full for the exact terms, including how the two study-abroad packages are treated.
Section 10 — No guarantee of outcome
Cowri Mobility does not and cannot guarantee any particular outcome. We do not guarantee university admission, scholarship award, visa or residence-permit approval, a specific appointment date, processing time, or entry to any country.
Admission decisions are made solely by individual educational institutions. Visa and residence-permit decisions are made solely by the relevant immigration or consular authorities. We will give you our honest professional assessment, but the decision to proceed is yours, and a refusal or rejection is not a failure of our service.
Section 11 — Intellectual property
The Cowri Mobility name, logo, website, written materials, templates, checklists and other content are owned by Cowri Mobility or its licensors and are protected by applicable law. We grant you a limited, personal, non-transferable licence to use materials we provide for your own application. You may not copy, resell, redistribute or commercially exploit our materials without our written permission.
Section 12 — Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Cowri Mobility is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, or for loss of opportunity, arising out of or relating to our services or a third-party decision. This includes losses arising from visa refusals, admission rejections, appointment availability, processing delays, third-party errors, airline schedule changes, or your late, incomplete or inaccurate documents.
Where we are found liable despite the above, our total aggregate liability to you is limited to the amount of the professional service fee you actually paid to Cowri Mobility for the specific service giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Section 13 — Communications
We communicate with you primarily through WhatsApp and email. You are responsible for keeping your contact details current and for monitoring the channels we agree to use. Estimates of timelines (including processing and appointment times) are indications only and are not promises or guarantees.
Section 14 — Privacy
We handle your personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy and use website storage technologies as described in our Cookie Policy. By using our services you acknowledge those policies.
Section 15 — Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Ghana. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or our services that cannot be resolved amicably shall be handled through the appropriate legal channels in Ghana. Where a dispute concerns a payment or refund, you agree to first follow the process set out in our Refund Policy.
Section 16 — Changes and contact
We may update these Terms from time to time. The version published on our website at the time you engage a service applies to that engagement. Material changes will be reflected by the “Last updated” date above.
